#43 Hey Jack Kerouac - 10,000 Maniacs

I've never sure that I like this song, but then again - any views? Here's the MTV Unplugged version.

#41 Speak To Me/Breathe - Pink Floyd

The opening 2 tracks of Dark Side Of The Moon - a album which, if you don't own it, you should obtain be any means! It's a haunting start to a great collection of tracks. This was recorded at Live 8.

#40 Let's Dance - David Bowie

Sampled many many times, but the original stands up well compared to anything released today.

#39 Bye Bye Love - The Everly Brothers

OK, so this was a hit WAY before even my oldest brother way born, but I heard it the other day for the first time in ages and thought, what a brilliant song! Simple and full of hooks. Does it matter how old a track is?! Of course not! And Don Everly was pretty cute when he was younger!

#38 Sex On Fire - Kings Of Leon

I love the opening to this track and the way it builds. I also think that slight cracking of his voice shows the emotion of the song.
